AutoX Event in Waterloo, IA

So there will be an AutoX event in Waterloo, IA April 24th (this coming Sunday). If anyone is interested in coming, please try to arrive by 9:30AM so that you can get registered and ready to race. Entry fee is $20 for members/$25 for non-members. I really hope to see some of you there. I know that I'll be in attendance and that Bens515 will also be there. It'll be a good time and the weather looks really nice that day. Should be in the high 60's and partly sunny.

Use the following address to input at: http://maps.yahoo.com/dd

Greyhound Dr
Waterloo, IA 50701

Here is a picture of where exactly the event will be held:

I will also provide a link for more events in the Iowa area.

I thought that the event was really awesome. Ben and I were the only Foci representing at the event. I think that we did pretty good considering the competition. It was all sorts of crazy fun. Hopefully I may have some video footage to upload soon and pictures of course I really was hoping that you'd make an appearance Scott. I wanted to check out your ride in person :)

Cheers!

I ended up taking I-80 back towards Milwaukee as opposed to going back through Waterloo. I also didn't get out of Ankeny until almost 1:45 so it would have been a stretch to get there by the time you all left even if I took that way.

Took me a little under 4.5 hours hours to make it from Ankeny to Milwaukee, did not see one police vehicle running radar or laser the entire way home. Unlike the night before when I guess we had a state trooper pull a "U"-y on us but I don't believe he ever stood a chance of catching up with us. Glad that happened at the end of the night!

Get those pictures up (and Ben, get me a shot of two you took Sat night).
