Parts wishlist to buy with leftover money.

I have some leftover money out of a couple of payments I made I considered the idea of investing them in my car since I haven't modded it in a while. Upon searching and seaching I came up with this part list to power up my car a bit more tell me what you think of them.
List:
1-Steeda Intake
2-Steeda 70mm MAF
3-Focus Central 65mm Throttle body
4-Steeda, Focus Central or Focussport Pulley kits
5-Magnaflow or Borla exhaust ( to get rid of my custom exhaust.)
6-Focussport or Steeda Camgears( and if available camshafts)
7-Focussport SCT Chip (since my ZX3 is an ATX it's an awesome idea)

I have the money to slowly buy these components. I made this list after getting good comments from my friends about these parts. The parts I have currently are good but since I haven't invested money on my car recently I feel that it's time for a little update.

skip the maf you wont need it. with those mods even the larger diameter housing wont make a noticeable difference.

go for a volant intake or a pipercross. the short rams suck in too much warm ambient engine air. especially since our exhaust manifold is in front of the intake mani. everything else looks good though.

Agreed sounds good. But I would go elsewhere on the Steeda shortram. I'd at least get a shielded one (Focus Central, Volant, FS Cool-Flo). And I also agree the MAF isn't necessary.

I'd make the SCT chip priority w/shift improver, it's supposed to work wonders for the ATX.

get the chip last, as it's something you gotta list all your other mods to purchase, you don't wanna buy more parts and then have to re-burn it. I like short rams, but that's me. Steeda is overpriced imo, short ram is a short ram as far as I'm concerned, get a bomz with a kn filter for a lot less money that does the same job. or an aem if you wanna spend a little. skip the maf, get the gears, I don't do pulleys, but a lot of people do... dyno tune the gears for sure, they don't do any good without tuning. check out trubendz on exhaust, you won't find a better product per dollar imo. good luck, post up when u decide

One thing concerns me though. You guys tell me to skip the MAF. Is it really not a good idea or isn't it worth at all. Another thing. does anyone know if K&N intake are any good. And also to all VOLANT owners if you could post your opinions about the product it would be helpful.

THANKS A LOT!

everyone i have talked to loves the volant, i'd say it's the best way to go. i've heard K&N is a decent set-up as well, i suppose what it comes down to is how much you've got to spend

i have tell you 1 billion times what to do man...
1. get rid of the coffee can...
2. get a real intake...volant or piper cross....that would be the best two...

Dude the can is already off my car. A guy who bolted my stock muffler back sells and installs magnaflow systems. And I have a real intake. What's wrong with the Iceman pio? Im just working and doing the best I can with the cash Ive got.

Don't worry about brand, only worry about numbers bro, if it aint in the wallet don't stretch to put it on the focus, man. i took my time to do my mods, I ddn't stretch and things worked out.
