Talking Guess what i got to drive friday

Hey all been pretty quiet since i lost intrest in my focus but on the bright side of things friday my managers buddy came up to work and he has a Lotus Elise. I was all checking it out and stuff and the guys all like hey man you wanna go for a ride, and i was all like well hell ya since i never got to drive in anything fun or exotic...... beside my r6 that i used to have so i walk to the passenger door and he says can you drive a stick and i said yea my cars one. He throws the keys over to me and that blew my mind, dont even know the guy and hes giving the keys over to me to drive his car. But long story short its not blazingly fast but daaaaammmmmm could this car fuc$ing handle the twisties. I took er up to little past 130mph and it got there from a stop pretty quick but you could feel the power after 6200 rpm is when you feel it i think it redlines at bout 8700 rpm. Its got i think like a hopped up toyota celica engine in it but it only weighs like 1700lb. This car would be a bad ass track car hands down and throw a turbo on it and BAMMMM that would be the only thing id to to it.

Just wanted to share it with yall.

Yea i was babying it at first but the guy was like you gotta get er past 6200 rpm to make her go so after he said that there was a open stretch of freeway, he didnt have a problem with it.

The funny thing was i went past the police station right after he said that at little over 120, ino it was stupid but dam i didnt even notice until i pulled back into the shop.

The Elise is amazing, the exact opposite of the US muscle car, designed to turn and low weight. The engine is a Toyota block with special Yamaha heads. It does the standard slalom faster than a Ferrari Enzo.

Every F1 driver who has ever tested one wants one. They even get decent gas mileage.

Yea im 6'3 and 190 pounds but flexible but i had one hell of a time getting into the car it still had the top on it to. Felt like i was actually getting into a F1 car, but strange enough i felt like one with the car once i was all buckled down in it.

Good GOD - are you CAPABLE of making a post that doesn't in some way take a jab at the U.S.? Say you like the Elise, keep it on topic, or [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]*.

Yes, the Elise is a very nice car, Knuckles congratulations on getting to drive one. I have yet to actually see one out on the road.
