Thumbs up B&M Short throw shifter

Has anyone installed a B&M Short throw shifter?

I just installed mine about two weeks ago. Pretty easy installation, took me about 30 mins. Like the short throw, and tight gate. The shift rod is about 4" shorter and the boot fits sloppy, so speed shifting with the arm rest down is tough. The pivot ball is slightly bigger, makes for stiff shifting. Having problems down shifting into 2 and kinda hard to get into reverse. Comes with a billet aluminum shift knob can use stock knob. Overall, worth the purchase. I paid $77 off of ebay.
Didn't get pics on install, but going to tear back down to trim reverse blocks. Will take pics then. If you have any input or pointers, or questions, please feel free to post.

Lightbulb

disconnect the ball connectors and pull the shifter out. On the bottom is the short throw B&M shifter and on the top is the stock shifter. You can see there's about a three inch difference, and the angle on the bottom ball connector is at an extreme angle.

Pull the rubber boot off the pivot ball grommets, the bottom falls right off. You have to pry the top one off. Load grommets with white grease and snap the top back on then the bottom. Put rubber boot back on.

CAUTION!
Put a rag around grommets before snapping back on and do not do inside of car! It makes a mess!

Pull shifter assembly, 4 10 mm nuts and unscrew shifter cables.
i straightened the shifter cable with a ballpeen hammer. use channel to clip shifter cable onto shifter. reinstall shifter assembly, done.
New shifter nob.

don't be lazy ass like me, pull the center console and do it that way. The whole job took me an hour but if I woulda pulled the center console it would have taken me about 20 minutes.
