killed a poser!!!!!!
I was coming out of Andrews AFB, bout to get on 495. A 3rd gen eclipes was behind me with a turbo wing. getting on the interstate is alittle longer then a 1/4 mile. so gettin on the on ramp i gun it. i see the front in the the eclipes lifted up. i pulled on he so easy. after i got on the interstate he did the typical loser fly by.

He was probably in a RS or a GS. I'm sure if it was a GT it would had your focus for lunch. But did you manage to see what it was? if he took off the rear emblom you could tell because the GT would have a V6 insignia on the front fender behind the wheel.

3rd gen or model year 2000 and + dont have turbos, theyve got v6's

Not all 3rd gen + have turbos. Only GT and GTS. RS and GS have 4 cylinders.

no 3rd gen eclipses have turbos unless they're aftermarket.

^^ what he said. The newer eclipses are very disapointing, as if the old ones weren't bad enough. My friend has one and he dumped 6 grand into it, and lost to an 04 cobra by 4 car lengths... from a dig.

Good kill though!

it wasnt the newer model. more like the 97. the one i like. im sorry about the mishap, thought that was the 3rd gen. it was an RS for sure. i had little run i with a TSi Talon on the interstate a while back, the results want pretty.

Opps, i'm sorry i didn't look at my post before i submited, i meant that not all 3rd gen + have V6's. Only GT and GTS.

As for racing a Eclipse i had a 2000 Eclipse GT, the car was bone stock and i could cream almost any car on the road. The only cars i lost too was a audi a4 and a new 5.0 mustange. Otherwise i had beaten focus's on many ocasions. So i dought a bone stock zx3 could beat one, it would be close probably with a svt though. Keep in mind i'm talking stock cars with no modifications what so ever.
