Need ideas on custom license plates for my SVT!

I have had my SVT for about 2 months now, and the plates the state sent me are really lame (6 numbers that mean nothing)

so...i decided ill pay the fee to change them. I am not goign to pay for vanity (vanity is all letters, or all numbers) but I want to do the "personalized" which is only 47 bucks.

I have to have 6 letters plus 0 through 9

I originally thought of "SVT ZX 5" (there has to be a space between last letter and number.. :( )

then i also thought of "MY SVT 5" which i liked, but now that i type out that i have to have 6 letters, that kind of blows those both away. **EDIT** just called the insurance place (they do license/title stuff) and apparently it can be UP TO 6 letters.... so I guess both ideas I have are in fact ok, but I would still like to see more!**

any ideas? I know some of you are really creative out there! (unlike myself) The plate I would love to have is "FOCUSVT" but... im not paying 100 bucks for it :(

Thanks guys

you have to have the 'SVT' in there somewhere, that's what sets your car out. besides that, i'm not sure. i wouldn't mind hearing what the DMV said about the amount of numbers required, you give 'em a call yet?

ya, i just edited the post, I guess it can be up to 6 letters. If there didnt have to be a space, I would prefer the "SVT ZX 5" so right now i like "MY SVT 5" but I am hoping someone thinks of a really creative one.

I thought about getting a custom plate now, then changing cars and not wanting somthing about SVT...but I plan to keep this car for a LONG time (probably till she drops) plus, its only 14 dollars to switch plates (what I will be paying now since the state already issued me some)

Let the ideas flow! :D

100 bucks for FOCUSVT?! that's insane. lemme guess, because it has no numbers in it? why would it run so high?

yup, it has no numbers, so it is "vanity" and is 94 dollars plus the 14 dollar plate change. where as personalized is only 47. (plus, the vanity has a much higher annual fee than the personalized does)

That's insane, here any custom plate is $8 and you can make it say whatever you want, same in texas, washington and california. Never heard of so many restrictions, kinda limits what you want it to say. hmm. For that kinda money I'd call around to a diff dmv (or whoever does tags in your state) and triple double check the rules.

Wow I can't think of any that abide by those rules. can u put the number on either end? cuz that'd free up the one for the front like 1hot... or 1bad...

no number on the end ^^ :(

This form I have goes straight to the state (its a state form) so its not like the fee is because im going through the insurance agency. (heck all they did was give me the form to fill out that already has prices on it an everything, and it goes to the state not back to the insurance place)

wow 8 bucks? lucky you... Illinois has some bogus laws... I also dislike how we have to have front plates.
