lower front bumper help

I have a 2004 Focus se and I cannot figure out how to remove the lower front bumper. I took out the upper bumper last weekend and I painted it to match the car rather than it being black and it looks good but I would like to also paint the lower bumper so it matches. I looked in the how to and I couldnt find anything. anyone know how to do this?

Are you talking about the grills? The bumper is one piece, there is no upper and lower part that are separate?

Yes, I am talking about the grills. So the bumper does not separate from the lower grille? and if i wanted to paint that then I would have to remove the bumper and do it that way?

Yes you can remove the lower grill.... read below......

To remove the lower grill, there are several tabs that must be released. Pictured below is the removed grill with the tabs indicated. The top middle two are longer and must be released first, easiest by getting underneath, snaking your hand in front of the radiator wind guide plastic, and pulling these tabs down until they pop. The remaining tabs can be done from the outside front of the car again pulling them down (or up) away from the bumper. Once they are all unsecured you can pull the grill forward and out.
