Review: Goodyear Integrity tires

Stay away from these tires. They came stock on my focus. I have 9.5k miles on the car and one of the front tires is down to 50% tread. The other front tire is new since i got a bulge in one tire a while ago and had to replace it. This is with perfect tire alignment, proper inflation checked every month and for the most part I drive it like an economy car (because it is).

I would say that the dry road traction is a little below average, and driving on these tires in wet conditions means almost certain death. These tires are terrible on wet roads. These things hydroplane like it's what they were made for. I once raced this car on a wet road. I started off slow and still managed to spin the tires through the rest of first and all the way through second gear at WOT.

They actually start off as decent tires, but after about 500 miles they are crap. After 500 miles they begin to slip a little when braking to a stop. And overall they just slip around a lot. Do not buy the Goodyear Integrity tires, and if you have them on your focus or any car, replace them as soon as possible. I fear for myself as I drive every day, and if you have these tires then you should fear for yourself and the safety of your children.

on a 1-10 scale

Style: 7 (they do look kind of cool)
Dry Performance: 5.5
Wet Performance: 0.5
Tread Wear: 6 (could be decent it you rotate tires often and drive like my grandmother)
Snow: N/A (dont think about it)
Noise: 8.5 - tires are pretty quiet.

Overall: 1.5 (not an average) - Tires may be acceptable if you live some where it never rains, or if you have winter tires.

Remember the stock tires are not made for us.
They are compromises with price, noise, and gas mileage being big factors.

I know they suck big time. I had a loaner car from the shop with them on and the slid in any kind of mosture on the ground. On hills you have to be extra careful when starting. It has turned me off to goodyears tires altogether.

Funny thing is I have seen them on New camry, evens lexus. No joke its on the Suv model for the lexus.

As for myself I dumped the stock stones and ride on Toyo TPT tires. Love them
