You need a Dealer/Factory Service Manual.

They go for about $100+ new but you might be able to locate some used ones for cheaper.

Is there something specific you are looking for ?

Yes, I am looking for the name of a part, and part number, for a plastic shroud or cover that is under the front end of the car and hangs down a bit, to the left of center while facing the car. It probably covers the crank shaft or some belts. It is plastic and broken. I want to find out how much for a new one, or is it even needed?

I am also trying to verify something someone told me about the engine. The car sat for about 16 months. It was in fine condition and looks great. Someone removed the oil where you pore the oil in, and said the cam looks rusty? It was 100% fine and normal. There is, and has not been any water in the oil. I think they are referring to the varnish or fine coating of the oil. Since it has not been run, I am assuming that the oil "dried" on the cam and that is what they are seeing. Any ideas??

Papa-

I hit something laying on the road and busted that cover on mine too. I don't think you really need it, I've had no problems with mine, even running through heavy rain/partially flooded roads, etc.

You can sign up for a year of access to an online service manual. Cost is $25 first year and $15 annual renewal. Visit www.alldatadiy.com This will get you diagrams, part numbers, everything you seem to be looking for.

Could definitely be rust on the cam. Oil doesn't "dry". It slowly but surely drips off of metal surfaces, and the kind of timeframe you are talking about is in the right ballpark.

Someone posted Factory Wiring Diagrams on here before. I will attempt to search and edit post.

EDIT: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showt...threadid=39111

That might help.
