CARID is a RIP OFF. I've been checking out AutoAnything.com, ILoveBodyKits, and AndysAutoSport lately and they seem reasonable.

http://www.ilovebodykits.com/advance...=09+ford+focus

Also the CHEAPEST place for that hood is AAS. It's $572.

http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/2...r01020651.html

If it was discontinued you may not find it cheaper.

Don't forget to add shipping also. For some reason its more for shipping to your house then at work.

Yes lol I did not add shipping since everyone's is difference. I would suggest, if possible, arrange something to ship to a parcel office and see if it is cheaper since it's on their normal route :) Like a pack and send place in your area.

From what I understand they no longer make them. The ones for sale on the sites like that are simply ones that never sold to being with because alot of people aren't willing to spend $600ish on them.

Then supply and demand kicks in as less and less are available new.. So the price goes up.

Oh the old hang on & hold them up deal, huh??? I wasn't that way w/ all my frpp's exhaust systems. I even had a few of the svt center exit kits too, as long as I made a few bucks, I was good.

Yeah but to these bigger company these hoods are consuming warehouse space and they need to make up for the small number of units they will sell by increasing the price. When you think about shipping and such $500-600 before shipping for the hood is about the norm on these.

What I don't get is the people who think its overpriced.
Its a carbon fiber hood?? What do you expect lol.

I don't understand why people complain about the price of a product just because it is out of their reasonable price range of "spending money."

Same thing with the FSwerks exhaust. Compared to other full, nice-fitment exhaust on the market for a vehicle, $400ish is a great price for the product.
But because someone is broke and has $50 to spend on exhaust they complain that the FSwerks exhaust is overpriced and not worth the money lol.
