I wish these were more reasonably priced! I want a vented hood so that it will keep the engine compartment cooler. I would also like a vent or intake near my CAI on my '02 so it can get more cool air without a snorkel...........sigh

$800 is way over priced. Should only be in the $400-$500 range max.

If your intake is a cone type and in the engine bay it's not a cai.

So my last one was because it stuck down under the engine? Mine is in a segmented bawx of its own. Does that halfway count? And why do they call them CAIs then? but he started it.....

Besides you know where it is I have a Zetec now!

Thanks B, I stand corrected. So my Duratec was a CAI.

My Zetec is a SRI. I wish my coffee worked better. I think the mass amount of drugs Im taking to be "sane" are f00kin with my head!

So technically I want a port in my hood for my SRI! which would be on the right side closest to the drivers compartment if I am standing in front of the car and looking at it. Check

Sorry Blue5iver Over!

I want to do that as well, I just need to find some way to plug it if necessary, don't want to have to worry about vaporlock!

I'm thinking about utilizing a fog-light hole to make an air scoop or something using brake cooling ducts. Haven't really thought it through, but my only concern is a more direct path for water. We have been getting a lot of rain lately and these nasty town roads pool up water really bad.
