If you want extra horsepower, go with a down pipe and catback, with an intake, and eventually a bigger front mount intercooler, and Cobb accessport. I know a guy with all of those upgrades and he roasts wrxs every week. And if you paint or plastidip the rims, it will look so much different, but better

Roasts WRXs every week? where does this guy live? I live in Subiland with STI/WRXs all over the place daily and I rarely meet one at a light at the same time but I also keep my racing at the strip.
I'd love to see some track numbers since I have a friend with a WRX in stock trim and runs 13.6 at the strip and throw on the same mods that are on the ST and run 12s. I haven't seen a ST in the 12s yet but some seem to be getting close.

If I could hang with a wrx id be stoked.... ive read that the factory tune wont let it go any faster in any gear no matter how many mods are on the car ut will just do it more "efficiently" unless you have a tune so im thinking the sct 3000 for my first performance mod.
What tunes are the best with this car who makes them and will they be compatible with other mods like js squared mentioned... pipes, intercooler etc

I'm in ct, also full of subies, but this guy beats stock wrxs and mildly nodded wrxs pretty often. Idk what brand parts he buys for most of them, but I know the Cobb accessport has proven to be pretty good for him. And for track numbers idk, aren't really any strips around here, and the majority of his races are rolls not digs
