short shifter problem
I ordered an FC Race Shifter but I was sent the direction for the regular Short Throw Shifter, since it says it includes a reverse lockout and all that stuff. I was wondering how much different the install is for the Race Shifter and if I can still do it with these directions. I'm also wondering if the Race Shifter comes with any other parts for the install, because all I received was the shifter itself. I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for.

The shifter should be the same, the reverse lockout fits overtop of the shifter shaft so since the FC Race doesn't come with one, all you have to do is skip those steps.
All you really have to do is remove the stock shifter shaft, take the white plastic ball and black rubber housing off the shifer shaft ball and put that on your new one. Hook up the bushings that controls the shifter cables to the new shifter shaft and reinstall everything.
