I liked yours thats why I did it, but wanted 3" instead. I had a hunch that the bigger muffler and pipe size would give it much lower tone and I was'nt wrong, low and deep. No rice sound was what I was looking for.

I don't have a video yet.
That flange is home made from a template made from the original. Made the first one and found there wouldn't be enough coverage for the gasket, because of the size of 3" hole so I made an identical one with a 2.25" hole to back up the 3" one, then welded them together.

Side view looks great I wouldn't cut it anymore reminded me of my 68 GTO of course it had one on each side. Maybe an oval or flat nascar type tip like Sonic_HedgeHog's.

I have'nt pulled the covers loose to see if there is room, but looks like the parking cable is in the way and you would have to stay as close to the end as possible because of structual body components. I may try and oval the tubing to make it flatter. I almost bought a oval tube, but they didn't have one that went from oval to 3" tube so would have had to make it. Didn't think it was worth the trouble. All for about $200.

Do you remember the size of the pipe on the engine side of flange? I was thinking of a 3" but use a slip type band clamp in place of the flange which seems like a restriction.

Custom 3" stainless Magnaflow exhaust

The main issue with trying to put the exhaust through the body/side skirts is all the reinforcing and number of angles coming together in the lower corner.

The unibody all comes together there

Should be a flange with 2.25" tube in it.

Cool thanks so band clamp is out but 3" would be like a megaphone use to make them on bikes nice low tone and so cool. LOL
