Drivers side motor mount toasty?

Hey guys. Just got in from wrestling with my air filter for the last hour and a half trying to get one of the corner screws out that was seized to that frigging circular washer on the bottom Finally just threw in the towel and took the whole filter box out and decided to wrangle it outside of the car..

BUT, this is what I found under the filter box.

To my untrained eye, it appears to be cracked and I'd probably replace it. Except for the fact that the previous owner of my car has paperwork saying it was replaced less than a year ago. From a Ford dealership. Which leads me to believe maybe its supposed to be like this??

Just double checking! Find it weird that a OEM mount would go out so quickly.

Thanks guys.

Looks like it hasn't been touched in 13 yrs, maybe they replaced the dogbone mount that's under the car. It's also on the drivers side.

Agreed. Nothing really rattles around too much when I drive, which is surprising. Ill add this to the list of things Ive got to replace.

From what I've read, OEM is the only way to go for this mount, as well as the passenger side one. Anyone know any good places for cheap cheap OEM stuff? I always hear the name "Steve from Tousley Ford" thrown around on here, but don't see where I can order parts from him. I've also read TascaParts.com is pretty cheap? I usually really can not afford geniune Ford parts, so if you've had any success with aftermarket cheap parts, chime in!

I believe the part # I'm looking for is 1S4Z-7M121-PA

Thanks you guys.

Steve works for Tasca now. You can order online and do local pick-up now to save on shipping.

As said above, Steve left, Tousley then changed to Auto Nation White Bear Lake Ford here->

They are competitive and I just ordered something 2 weeks ago and got it soon after. Was cheaper than my local Ford dealer.

When I replaced my reverse switch, I changed out the trans mount to a vf engineering poly mount.
