Upper rear spoiler

What are your thoughts on the upper rear wing spoiler on your focus? I'm debating ordering one but was wanting to know if you guys think it's a bit silly etc.

I just want a different trunk spoiler. Or some pedestals to make it stand up higher off the trunk.

I just don't see many of the focus cars from 08-11 with the upper rear wing above the back window. I just don't know if it will look silly

This should settle matters.

Haha. I don't mean anything ricey when I say pedestals. I just want it an extra inch or so off the trunk. It would make it easier to clean the pollen and crud that gets trapped under there without having to take half the lid apart.

Ouch! Haha

Serious question, it seems like having the spoiler holes sucks. Would it be worth it to just get the oem spoiler and use 3M tape?

I'm sure you could with no issue. From the factory the wing has five prongs that go into some grommets, which go into holes in the roof. Cut off the prongs, or alternatively, drill some holes, get the grommets, and you're golden.

Thanks man! I'm assuming the trunk spoiler also has prongs? Where did you get that service manual? :)
