I only run the snorkel delete when I don't have my Steeda in. The Newmission mod killed my fuel mileage for my commute, though many that have more highway/interstate mileage saw economy gains.

I have the k&n typhoon intake and I love it, not only do I think it has better performance and throttle response but it sounds sick as well. I have the snorkel delete as well. I suggest the whole intake but it was a but pricey.

Do this if you want a real CAI, has better sound then just snorkel delete. Not all ricey like with the lid removed, keep the lid on with the newmission mod and snorkel delete with a drop in and call it a day! If you're scared about water/dust getting in the filter then buy a hydrophobic prefilter.

I did the snorkel delete and am looking for an aftermarket air filter. I've looked on K&N's website but there are several filters they recommend for the 2013 Ford Focus. Which one should I get? I don't really feel like spending $200+ for a CAI when a snorkel delete and drop it work almost as well.

The open ended Green filters are pretty sweet

Also does it matter that mine is a PZEV and not an eco-boost?

Eco-boost is only the ST

At least here in the USA currently

Match the correct filter to the correct car.

Hm. I could've sworn I've seen non-ST Foci with Ecoboost badge here on the East Coast. But okay thanks. Will probably end up getting that one.

Non-ST's in the US wear flex fuel badges, which look similar but are not the same. PZEV Mk3's are only in certain markets.
