Engine mounts...you can get inserts for the dogbone mount ($20) and the stock upper mounts don't last long if you drive hard, so I would look into the poly mounts ($3-400). If it's a 5-speed, look into the DIY short shifter, I did mine with good results. Buy some good front swaybar endlinks as those wear out quickly. Rock Auto is a great place to buy a lot of parts for a good price. There are a lot of good used parts on the site here as well and a lot of great people willing to help.
Thanks for the info - for tires I have Nitto Motivo's and happy with them so far.

As for the mounts I was thinking of getting the poly inserts except for the passenger side it seems to be very mixed opinions on OEM or aftermarket. I found this but they throw the word "insulator" on it but I think it's the right one? http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/Pa...rd&model=Focus

But also read something about the DEA one being fine you just need to make sure your engine is lined up properly.

Passenger mount is always the "bad" mount of the two upper mounts. I would not replace one with urethane and one with rubber as I think it would rip both to shreds in no time due to the different densities and I would replace both at the same time even if one looks fine. The two upper mounts take about 1 hour to change out the first time and about 1/2 hour the second time. So if you get some vibration after they are installed then you are supposed to just loosen the mounts and re-tighten them and you should be set...there is an instructional thread on this somewhere on here (follow THOSE instructions and not mine!)!

Looks like either me or my girlfriend kissed a curb :(

Ordered Anchor passenger side mount and CFM driver side. Poly inserts ordered for dogbone from Massive. Got some pedal covers from eBay for cheap, can toss em if they are garbage.

Not much of an update - waiting for parts to arrive and waiting for my next pay check too.

Fanatic starfuryt550 is helping me out - grabbing some Colour match door handles off him (he even went to a scrap yard and is colour matching a 4th handle w/key hole!). Thanks very much!

Hopefully going to get this done on Friday evening or Saturday morning. Was just going to get a local shop to do it to save myself some time but they quoted me 5 hours $630... And since College is over I should have the time now. Not sure if that is a major over-estimate but that seems ridiculous, and I did mention the front strut assembly was already put together.
