I would say no unless the programs you get from the diablo web site are writen for mac. I think they only have them for windows. If they do have the programs for mac then yes it would work.

Any time I try to stream data I get small window that says "Select PID's in tree view". Well there is only one on there and it wont let me click on it. When I click on the PID icon it comes up and says communicating and will stay that way for days.

I have changed the com prot and baud rate a million times and nothing has changed.

What am I doing wrong?
So far I have been able to log data into the Predator, and then bring it inside the house and download it to my notebook using the CMR_DAT application menu option Tools>Get Log File from Predator. I can open it using the menu option File>Open>Log File

So far, working in the Log and Chart screens has not been easy. The downloadable users manual for CMR_DAT is really lacking instructions, and there's no Help in the application.

I'll have to try the streaming option with the notebook hooked up to the Predator while it's hooked to the car sometime.

Using the Predator Ford PC Interface program, I was able to Get File From Predator and save it to my hard drive. I'm not certain why, when, or how you'd use this or the Send File Option. The instructions in the user guide and application don't really explain things. I think it has to do with Custom Tunes and maybe having more than one tune you can load, and moving the different ones in and out of the Predator.

On the other hand, installing the custom tune, and using the diagnostics menus to check and clear codes on the Predator couldn't be easier.

When you pick Ford -> Focus -> SVT there are no downloads listed. Where do I get the PC software from?

Re: Predator Help (loading custom tune)

Okay. I found the software. I chose mustang instead and there it was.

Anyways. I have no clue what I'm doing.

When I try to export the extra tune, it fails. It sits processing at 0 percent, then will eventually fail.

When I try to export the original backup, it fails. Right away it says "Error: Original backup does not exist on svt_focus tools."

You wont be anle to load a tune till some one sends you one , Also you cant download the mustang down and expect that to work with the Focus , those are updates for the predator it self , I will contact diablo tommorrow and see why the Focus one isnt working

What are you trying to do

It was the CMR_DAT windows dat viewer that I got from the mustang section. I was just trying to transfer a realtime log from the predator to the computer.

Then I got caught up trying to see if I could store my original tune, and my extra tune (the rich tune that i'm running now - my dyno/tuner guy put in so i could limp my car home) onto the pc.

That would be incredible, Tom. I'd really appreciate that. My email is dwong@mtroyal.ca

The only mods on the SVTF that would matter (aside from the turbo, of course) are the 42 pound injectors.

Thanks a ton!
