How to drive an svt focus correctly ??

ok guys, how do you go about launching your svt on a 0 to 60mph run, what rpm do you launch on, when do you shift from 1st into second,?? and 3rd??

just want to know some advice, from someone who has mastered the art of driving this car to get the best out of her, and when to shift

Best time to shift is about 6800-7000 , launch is something each dirver has to figure out on his own
I hold the hand brake and slip the clutch slightly till I feel it pulling then full throttle , hand brake off and off clutch all at the same time

It really is sort of a "to each his own" thing. I personally prefer to launch around 2800 RPM, and shift right before 7k, but the only reason I do it that way is because that's how I like to do it, nothing more nothing less, so just try different things out and see what works best for you
2003 SVT ZX5- EAP rims, FSWerks Race cat-back exhaust, FSWerks SRI, Spectre cone filter & breather filter, FSWerks front splitter, SAP rear diffuser, upgraded throttle body (Size and brand unsure), HID headlights, more to come!

Moved this to the "Drag Racing" section as these people would know better how to launch the SVT to get better times.
