st170/svt tuning mods

Hi guys

im living here in london, So i have an st170, the same as your svtf, at the moment, i have a k&n filter, 67mm trottle body and dreamscience remap, running on 97 octaine fuel.

im about to get toms custom tune, was just wondering if 10mm leads, udp's and a lightened flywheel would improve the tune from tom???

cheers

Not really , the UDP makes not HP or TQ gains , stock plug wires have proven to be just as good as anything aftermarket , Lighter Fly I would wait to do till you need a clutch it wont add a lot of HP or TQ

3 inch Exh from header back will help , wide band o2 will help

Tom

Cat back with a high flow CAT would help , engine mounts make a lot of vibration in the car , its seem about 50/50 on like and dislike on the mounts

Dogbone Mount and a short softer are nice additions. There really isn't a lot of gain in bolt ons. You pretty much have to boost the car to see any real gains. Handling and braking are good bang for the buck as well.

A lot of people will say that there are no gains from a pulley but it can be felt. .. It's not dramatic though. When I installed mine, it felt like I had been driving with the air conditioner on the whole time and finally turned it off. So no measurable gain just less "drag".
