E85 after a tune (not e85 specific)

So I finally found some ethanol that I can get to if I really need to. Ran the tank dry and filled it up while leaving the Injected 91 tune on there. Holy hell the car feels like I went from stock to having a tune all over again. It makes stupid torque everywhere and even idles smoother.

Has anybody else tried this? Next time I go to the track I'll make the extra trip to get some corn to see how it affects my times and trap speed.

Yup E85 rocks for performance but not mpg's. I am not sure if its safe to run E85 with 91 octane tune tho? Maybe tom can chim in when he has time, I know its not his tune but still. I would love to be able to run E85 with toms 93 tune as the E85 is $1.50/gallon cheaper then 93 at shell. (its one of the biggest reasons I am holding off on the tune)

Btw what app are u using to see that information on AFR and ethanol?

Edit: Maybe the car is running more like your 93 tune now since the octane rating is higher then 91?

Its the Torque app, its on android and I think IOS as well.

It seems to run very smooth, I would imagine an ethanol specific tune would be even better.

And how do you connect the torque app to your car? I am very interested.

They make nice ones supposedly but the one I have is a cheap $20 Chinese eBay clone. It hasn't given me any problems though.

gotcha thanks. Just searched the app and its $5 not bad, gives good information. So is that app telling u that 77% of that fuel you are using is ethanol? Shouldnt it be 85%? Might run even better if you can find a better pump with better gas :)
