The SVT header is the best header for the zetec, its just as good as all the other aftermarket ones.

What other exhaust mods do you have? Check out www.mcnewsautomotive.com cause they sell a SVT header kit with everything you need.

I have Borla cat back for now, and I want to increase header and eventually get aggressive cams and change up the cam gears.

Also is it possible to go to a ford dealer and order an SVT header from them?? I was thinking maybe it might be less than the $265 at McNews.

few problems with that idea..

one you need to find a SVT authorized parts dealership, two you will definitely need to know someone there to get it at a better price, and three you will have to venture out to get the miscellaneous hardware to bolt it on to your non-SVT car...in the end it is just easier to get it from mcnews

if your not worried about emissions and would like to save a few pennies, then i would go with the OBX. i have the 4-2-1 race header and i love it, just make sure you get a copper gasket to go with it for like 20 bux, after that it will put you at about $200. and sounds nice on my car and im happy with the performance gains.

You could use the SVT flex, or an aftermarket one. The stock Zetec one wont work.
