Need help with part name and part number

Hello guys,

I'm in need of some assistance with getting a part number and name for the focus. Just recently my seat lever to bring the driver seat forward stopped working. I figured out it was the cable that runs from the bottom of the seat to the lever at the top by the head rest as it has busted at the bottom. I need to find a replacement cable for this and I have been having a hard time finding it let along getting a part number or name. Anyone else had this problem or able to assist me with this?

Thanks

Hey nevik,

Head over to Ford Parts here and enter your VIN. There are a multitude of parts for you to choose from.

If you still have questions, let me know.

Todd

Front Seat Control Cable 617K45, SVT specific. It's on the ford parts website, you just need to use the search feature. I'd try to find a used one or fab one up using a bike shifter cable.

I think there are several options:
1. Buy new part
2. Junkyard
3. People parting out SVT's on here
4. If the end of the cable is what broke, (the "clamp" came off), you can get new clamps and crimp back on to the cable. If the cable it itself is frayed or or broke or what not, see options 1-3.

Hope that helps.

Someone in the sales area had some SVT seat parts they were giving away for the cost of shipping. Probably got what you need there.

Where can I find the "sales area"? Hell I can't even find this post as it was moved to SVT interior mods & upgrades and I'm just trying to find a part number or a place to purchase this OEM part!

Thanks, what Ford parts website are you referring to?
