Went out to pick up ritas for me and the wife and I ran into a stock ST on the way back. We did a dig run to through 2nd gear and it was neck and neck. He didn't launch as I didn't hear his tires squeal and he asked me if they were making a turbo sedan now. Lol I told him no its a standard auto 2.0 and he was baffled saying he must have spent too much money. Lol I told him it was tuned from injected and to look out for some tunes for his ST and I don't think he's a car buff cause he looked puzzled.

I haven't personally ran an ST, I don't think they are much faster but have a easier potiential so to speak, just because all the turbo stuff is already there. I remember turboing my N/A and all my buddies already had turbo factory cars and I now realize why, it is much easier and creates much less problems. My best friend traded his stupid fast (60 trim on 29lbs of boost, built trans, stripped, ect) Integra for a stock SRT-4 Neon and at the time I was like why the hell, but after turboing my last 4 banger I realized why, just much more reliable and easier to build.

Factory turbo is the way to go. When I had my Supra I dynoed abput 283hp to the wheels stock and then with a bit more boost, intake, full 3" turbo back exhaust and front mount and laid down 439whp and that was for less than $2000.
With my DSM it was a 0-60 monster running right around 4 seconds and 1.7 60' times on street tires at the strip. It was a bit quicker than the Supra to 60 but was trailing by over a half second by the end of the 1/4.

If an ST had a driver that knew how to launch he should be hitting 60 in under 6 seconds but fwd launches take some technique.

Try to take on a J30a4-5 6spd Accord.

I actually never knew they were that fast, the GTO was cool but I never got obsessed with it like my other cars. It just, wasn't for me I guess. At the time I was really ready for a turbo'd 4 cylinder, and since money was tight I decided to go nitrous instead, which I don't regret, other than sound, I wish I had the whistle.
Those guys can't drive. The 04 is a high 13 car and the 05+ is a low 13 car. Period.

I was looking at a video I took of me at the track where you can see my speedometer. I could see a mid six second time being possible, granted I was just counting off in my head on a prepped track with more traction than I had the power to overcome. I was also launching at 5500 RPM.

How are you able to launch at 5500 without getting bad wheel hop? I even have ERMM and anything 4k or more it wheels hops badly.
