0-60 Times

Didn't see a thread regarding 0-60 Times and now that I finally have a focus that works...long story but I've been thru 3 including a manual and 2 dct's.

My current Focus is a 2014 SGM DCT with the sport package.
Current mods: K&N drop in w/ snorkel delete and 91 octane tune from injected. DCT tune for my car is still being worked on so keep in mind it's engine only at this time.

0-60 Times
Stock: 8.1 Avg of 3.
Tune and K&N: 7.2 Avg of 3.

Hoping that when I get the DCT portion the snappier shifts can land me in the high 6 or at least 7 flat.

Mods to come later this year are exhaust (undecided brand), maybe a real intake, RMM, drop, race header.

Have a buddy with a 08 civic si running I/E/H and flash pro. He hasn't ran at a track but I've seen similar mods run 14.8-15.3 driver depending. I think a full bolt on tuned focus can hit that.

You should be able to do high 14s no prob with full boltons. I did 7.4 stock and 6.7 with mods listed in sig, i am manual tho. I have a thread on it somewhere.

My manual had a spectre cone filter and the 91 tune and I was able to hit a 6.7 0-60 but the trans had a reverse issue since right after I bought it. Ford could never duplicate it so I traded it back in. I don't regret the DCT but I miss 3 pedals. My 1st DCT was tuned only and then out of no where at 900 miles the DCT got locked into neutral even tho it was in drive. Ford reset the TCM and got it to work again but I didn't want the car back so they bought it back after much argument. The car was on the stock tune when it locked up though.

I'm sure once I add the DCT tune to the car it will hit high to mid 6's 0-60 as the car cannot rev to 7k as of now and the shifts are slow. The DCT will chirp 2nd after the trans tune

Yup should be quicker with a tune for sure. There is a guy running 15.0 with injected tune so with more mods 14s should be possible.

I saw that a bit ago. It's promising to take down some modded Vtec's. This is the first time I have done a naturally aspirated car in 7 years since my MK1 Zetec. Every other car I've had was boosted.

I think the fastest DCT would be DYN0.

I have an uncle in Ovideo. I personally live near UCF, but I ride out to the track every once in a while, used to go all the time in my Camaro, but it also made nearly 500 at the wheels. Join the group Florida Focus on FB, they just had a meet in Daytona and we try to meet every couple months, I think the Daytona meet had 15-20 cars. I personally haven't been to one yet, I got my car not that long ago, the Daytona meet was only the second one I heard about since I got my car but I know a lot of people who do go out and say its a blast, I met at least 4 people personally in Florida because of those meets and they always lend a helping hand, I myself and probably anyone else in the group is more then willing to help you out too man!
