[QUOTE=iminhell;6475905]

I'm interested in knowing where the covers for the SVT fogs came from, or if they are a 1-off part? (may just be a lighting/my eyes)[/QUOTE

Don't understand, my car is an 07 ses, a non SVT production year.

Update

Well I can't belive it took a week to post this, just been busy. IT'S DONE!!!

I started by mounting the bar. It is bolted from the bottom up to keep it looking clean. I couldn't get a pic of the inside of the bumper bar. On the top I used 1" finder washers to help spread pressure. They bump up against each other and cover the entire depth of the bumper bar on top.

Next I mounted the lights to the bar, and got them ready for wiring.

Then I began by wiring the fog lights to the factory harness using h11 female plugs to connect to the factory plugs. Very clean and lets me use the factory light switch on dash as intended.

After this I ran all the wiring for the driving lights. The factory low and high beams were connected as the trigger for the respective relays through on off switches mounted to drivers side kick panel.(I drilled holes in kick panel to mount switches and put electrical tape on exposed metal behind kick panel just to be safe. Then ran wires through loom to clean up install) Relays were mounted to bolts on drivers side of engine bay as well as grounds for relays. All fuses were left exposed in engine bay for easy inspection and replacement. Cleaned up all wiring and grounded driving lights to bar. Put aero tray and grille back on car and waited for NIGHT.

Last step was to aim lights. I used standered method for fog and low beam driving, but high beam driving were aimed to my preference as they are used in absence of on coming traffic.

So here are the pics of the install.

Rlb

Thanks, It has gotten a few strange looks and of course a few high beam flashes from drivers, but who cares it's legal and I love it.
In 2 weeks while in Michigan I'll be running my yellow headlight bulbs(illegal in all 50 states according to US DOT standerds but I've never been harassed there, like here in Ohio) and take some pics playing in the woods rally style.

Do you currently have any plans to make more of them? I'd be interested in one. My current bar/bracket isn't structurally sound enough.
