I was thinking about getting a badge from billet badges but just a blank one so from far away you would only see an oval and it'd look cleaner. Costs about $65 per badge I think.

Why replace the badge when you can buy overlays for $10 that look just as clean?

Just looks better to me. So do you just have it over top of your Ford badge? Can you see the outline of the letters under the sticker? I can't remember if the letters on the badge are slightly raised or not.

I have an overlay on mine for Ford Racing. You can't SEE the letters from behind it, but you can feel them. Same with the rear.

I said to hell with painting and just bought a new black one from Rockauto for $47. My original one was broken anyway. Stupid PO tried removing it and busted the tabs...

I was gonna order a black one from there so I'd still have my stock one. Did it come gloss black or did it need to be painted?

Mine was cut out and filled with fiberglass. Just drove without a grille for the time it was being worked on.
