Focus performance ecu

Does anyone know if you can put a jdm ecu into a 2006 focus zx4 or if it has a obi d 2 port?

It has a obd 2 connector right below the the dash panel on the left side. What are you trying to do?

I was looking at a jdm ecu and it said it only fit cars with an obd 2 connector and I wasn't sure if a focus had one

The focus goes as all cars from '96 up do. I'd pass on that. If you want a tune get a real one. TurboTom & Fwerks has them. Run don't walk from that jdm ecu. Hey on the 2nd thought= Isn't the jdm stand for Japanese domestic model? Why would you do that for?

I never knew what it stood for, but it says it adds 40hp and torque and where I live there are no performance shops or anything like that so I have to get the stuff online, and I thought an ecu would be a cost easy upgrade to add horsepower

Do you have a link to this jdm ecu ? I wouldnt get it till you know for sure what it does and how it works

You will never see a 40HP gain from a ecu unless you dont have a tune and have a TON of mods and the mods are not working with the stock ecu

http://www.amazon.com/Focus-JDM-ProM.../dp/B00CXUZFLO
http://www.jdmperformancechip.com/

Which boils back to --> http://www.shftglobal.com/
Which looks like the parent company but they don't sell to the public. Looks/sounds like they sell through local/online retailers.

Basically the same old shitty Chinese junk that's been flooding the internet since the internet.

I sent Pro-M and email. Seems like a company that'll just muddy their name and I think it's only right to let them know about it.

Pro-m is nothing like they use to be when I delt with them back in the early 2000

The jdm box is not worth the money and wont do a 40hp gain they get you at " up to 40hp " never happen
