St rear lip on non st models

I wanted to do center exhaust so i thought using the st rear lip would be a good touch since it will make it look oem like the st model. I went to the ford dealership and for the rear lip, the little grille pieces, and the reflectors it would cost 550. The lip was 290.00 and the reflectors were 75.00 . So i did a little digging for diagrams on the assembly of the rear lip and it looks like i might be able to just use the reflectors from my car. if you look at the diagram the whole black strip on the bottom of the bumper is removable and so are the reflectors. It also looks like the st rear lip doesn't go over the existing bumper but is a whole different piece that snaps into the bumper cover. Either way ill be finding out if it will fit this summer so ill keep you guys updated with pictures as I go.

You might need to buy
17810
13A565
17D752
HN3
HS3

According to that Diagram the rear bumper 1 looks exactly as the rear bumper 17906A... So I bet it will work!
I'm wondering if this mod apply to the a Sedan body! Keep us update!

Yes, but what I was saying the only difference looks to be the rear lip and the two grille pieces. Hopefully ill only need the lip and the grille pieces. Unfortunately it most likely wont fit the sedan as its only made for the ST which is a hatch. You sedan guys need a little bit more love aftermarket wise for the rear of the car. I feel for ya guys sedan rear end would look great with some of these parts that are only out for the hatch.

I'm pretty sure that the reflectors are indeed different. Maybe you'll luck out and they won't be, but I seem to remember this needing to be replaced on some of the other rear valance swaps. And no, these definitely don't fit the sedan.

The rear bumper is the same above the lower valence, but the reflectors are not the same and would not work.

There was supposed to be a kit complete with ST rear muffler as an axle back exhaust for around the same price as the parts alone from Ford Racing, but I'm not sure when that goes on sale.

Unfortunately I don't really want the stock exhaust from the ST. I saw the kit online from ford racing it looks like the stock ST exhaust. Only way i would buy that kit is if i knew someone who would buy the exhaust part off me for 50-100 bucks.

Unless you could pick it up it would cost a pretty penny to ship it to you. What would be the cheapest way to ship something like that?

I guess if the difference in price with shipping is still less money for a catback might be a option for him. Ill see what happens when I go to buy the stuff sometime in July.
