Three separate tunes you can pick from and switch when you want, in addition to the stock tune. The DCT tune is part of each tune except for the stock tune.

Explain the stock tune for the Injected tune...is this a copy of what is on your car? I think what scares me about fiddling with the computer programming on the car is that I want the ability to go back to exactly what the car was before, not an approximation. I think Tom's tune makes a copy..is that correct?

When I received the Injected tuner, I plugged it into the car and it downloaded the stock tune into it. I sent that file, along with the PCM and DTC strategy codes. Then they make the tunes and and send them back to be downloaded into the hand held unit. There are the stock tune, 87,91,93 octane tunes loaded into the hand held box. Easy.
Oh yeah, in some of tom's posts, he says that the Injected tuner changes the strategy codes, so Ford would know the car was tuned. I checked both PCM and TCM codes before and after, and they are all the same.

You may want to check your stock strategy to what your strategy was when you bought the car

I have changed many customers that changed to my tuning back to there strategy to when they bought there cars as when the tune was removed the strategys no longer matched

Anyone that does not believe this go back to stock tune then read your strategy and match it to what your strategy was before you did any tuning and let us all know , all I have to go by is the ones I have put back to stock strategys that had the injected tune

Tom

That is correct , My tune can go back to what your Focus had when you bought the car , I DO NOT change your strategy I use the strategy that is in your ECU ,When you remove my tune it is very unlikely that a dealership could pick up that you ever had a tune flashed to your car

The flash counter does get iterated, that alone is a red flag, and that generally can't be reset by the customer.

There are always finger prints. People need to understand that any modification is a risk to their warranty on the part in question or any related systems or subsystems.

You pay your money you take your chances.

I agree with what you said , the dealership has no way of checking this tho , a changed strategy can be see , they say it cannot but I know it can it voided the warranty on my SVT

I just said I checked strategy numbers before and after and they matched. I had to send the current numbers in so they could write the files to those numbers.
