Datalogging requires the car to be driven around town and such.

Alright, I thought you could simply set up the xcal to datalog, and upload the data to your laptop from there. Learn something new every day.

Today also seems to be the appropriate day to learn that as my tuner is coming in today

I can remote in and set up the list of things that I need to see to make your tune Custom and we will do a idle datalog why I am doing this as if I was sitting in the car working the laptop
I then would like to see a 5 min idle , 5 min cruise , WOT= Wide Open Throttle in 3rd gear 2000 to 5000 all one log then send me the lot

There is an option to send my list I made to the xcal so a laptop is not needed every datalog we may do other then the first , I am not sure if this is working for all PID on the MK3 but willing to set it up for some one to try

Datalogging is very easy to do and well worth the small amount of time to do it

I have a laptop, so no worries there. Actually already installed the software for the tuner. Just need to pick up the tuner tonight after work and send the info!

VERY EXCITE!

Only reason I'd prefer to do exhaust first is because a friend of mine should be getting a tubing bender soon and I wont have to spend very much to get a custom exhaust...but if he drags his feet much longer I may buy the tune first. It'll void warranty obviously, yes?

I have never had a customer tell me a tune voided his warranty
