2016 Cruze Clones 2015 Focus

So basically Chevy started with the 2015 Focus, rotated the two front grills 180 degrees and called it a day. So glad I got the '14, it'll always have the unique look. I'd be pissed if I waited for a '15 and then got mistaken for a Cruze every day. I mean seriously, those headlights appear to be nearly identical.

I think I read that it was only for Asia. That being said, I don't see much resemblance.

Chevy did the same thing with the HHR. They hired the guy that created the PT Cruiser away from Chrysler and had him create the HHR for Chevy. I'm sure it's happened the other way around too. At least cars are starting to have their own look again. For a while every car in at least Chevy's line up looked almost exactly the same.

The headlight shape is the same, but that's about where the similarities end.

Who cares, really. These days in automotive design there are some key elements you've got to have if you want to sell any cars. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is what the badge says and I can tell you I'd never be caught dead owning a Chevrolet.

Neither look particularly, great. It's like debating who came up with a mediocre idea first.

In my opinion, Both are uglier than the actual models!

I'm not fully convinced on them yet.

The headlights definitely look almost exactly the same but keep in mind Ford sorta ripped off Aston Martin with the grilles they're using now. Almost all car manufacturers take design cues from another these days.
