Zetec Stumble Fix...Help?

So, I came across this thing on FocusHacks.com

It covers the Zetec Stumble problem, which I am pretty sure I have. My engine seems to flutter when I accelerate in lower RPMs, in any gear. So, to try and fix the problem, I put in a K&N AirFilter, and ran some Fuel Injector Cleaner liquid through the system. Didn't fix it. Then I came across the Stumble fix here...

So, I was excited, and I went outside to fix it tonight. I have a 2002 Ford Focus ZX3. So, the only circular metal object I could see was below the intake tube that comes out of the air filter box. I tried to pull the black tube out of the top of the metal thing, but it wouldnt come out. I figured I would wait until daylight.

Does anyone have pictures of this, and can help me out so I can make sure I am pulling off the right tube?

Say you are looking down at your engine. There is a tube that goes in the top of your engine on the top right of the engine, and it connects to your Air Filter box it looks like. This tube is loose on my car, what is it?

A coward dies a thousand deaths.

this is what i would say is the problem as i have seen this problem before, disconnect the egr vacuum hose(right rear corner side of the cam cover)disconnect that sucker(looks like a ufo) and plug the vacuum hose and you should automatically hear a difference if not this is not the problem, and could be a fuel pressure, iac or exhaust problem...jess
