What tire's?

Hey, I just got my SVT road legal and literally bought some rims last night (7 Total o.0). I put 2 on temporarily to see how they look but I am still trying to decide what kind of tire's to get for tomorrow morning.

The rims are 17" but im trying to get the best fit and tire without rubbing. currently the rear tire is 245 and the front is 225, so far i have only heard rubbing in the back. I have had someone tell me to get 205's and stretch them but im new to all this. I usually just ask a mechanic what will fit and they put them on.

The SVT came standard with a 17x7 WHEEL, so all it would need is a 205/45/17 tire to keep everything in check. Going over or under the proper tire size will offset the speedometer.

A 215 or 225 series tire.

Don't think stock for the SVT was 205, don

215/45-17 was SVT Stock size, 205 for the other models (at least the earlier years).

Those are the two favored sizes for stock fitment.
