If you were that into your heritage, you would never say "Mexican Indian." There was never such a thing. Sure, the Europeans (more specifically in the case of modern-day Mexico, the Spanish) might have referred to the tribal peoples as "Indians," but that never made it true.

So what was he? Aztec? Mayan? Zapotec?

Nevermind that the original joke was aimed at modern, nation-state era Mexican-American culture. Not the tribal people.

Back on topic, that Neon isn't bad if you get the badge off there.
