I can't disagree with that and yes it would be better if it was a ford minivan rather than a grand caracrap

Neutral drop it. I used to do it my ford windstar when i had it. Very bad for trans but dose lite tires up.

Its a fundamental fact of any turbo auto car. You only need anti-lag when you start getting up there in frame sizes and big exhaust housings.
