True confessions time. When I was a sixteen year old punk rocker, I did this to a poor, innocent Mercury Comet:

The words "Die With Dignity" were painted on the rear deck lid in huge, red letters.

Our neighbors must have been so happy to have this thing parked on our street.

sadly there is a shop in my town that does all body kits with wood and drywall screws

Yep I hate kids who buy or get a already souped cars and trucks. They don't know how much money, and hours went into the build and the race them around town like it's their own. An usually tare'em up.

That is totally bizarre. Do his customers know the body kits they're paying for are made out of wood? Does this shop have a Web site? I'd love to see how they describe their services!

Believe it or not Ford actually did use "5-speed" badges on some of their vehicles(although the ZX-2 wasn't one of them).

Back in the early to mid 1980s those badges were used on the Ford Escort/Mercury Lynx,Ford EXP/Mercury LN7 and the Ford Tempo/Mercury Topaz. The reason for this was because at the time the standard transmission was Ford's 4-spd OD "Fuel Saver" manual transmission. However, customers could order the 5-spd manual as an extra cost option and as thus, those vehicles that had it had a "5-speed" badge located on the trunklid under the vehicle's nameplate.
