I park in this lot usually once a day, because it's an extremely key lot (there are a lot of things in my town in this plaza). There ARE isolated parking spaces in this otherwise very busy plaza. Tying up two spots because you feel eraisou for having a flash car? Unacceptable. I'd seen this GT-R around since the guy got it, was hoping he didn't turn out to be a d-bag. Hopes = dashed.
Honto desu. If I did that, I would feel compelled to change my car's name from Daniel-san to Daniel-sama.

^LOL. I see my wording wasn't for naught.

Seriously. Yeah, it's cool. It's nice. IT'S A DATSUN. I saw a Porsche Panamera GTS today. It managed to only occupy one space. I'm pretty sure Godzilla can do the same. It's a shame, this particular one is my first in-real-life encounter with a GT-R (since it showed up in my town this week), and unfortunately driven by a 'hat.

Exactly! When people in their fancy cars, with their pompous
attitudes park like that, I'm always so tempted to park so close that they can't open the driver side door lol

I feel this also belongs in here. Though he doesn't have it on right now, my ex-coworker (fiancee's current co-worker) usually has all manner of badly-done plastidip on his blue Mitsubishi Technica. It's got all of about 95bhp and he rides around with this 'crew' of other rice-cadets around town, revving at anyone and everything.

At one point, his headlamps were totally dipped too.

I have not gotten a single door ding in 5 years for this very reason. I purposely park as far away as possible for that reason. The only time I ever had an issue is when I was too far forward and some b@@@h decided to hit the front bumper even though there were like 10 other open spots around her. I had her paged at the store and first she tried to say the card werwnt touching, lie, and when I made her actually look she said it was my fault because I parked over the line. Thankfully no damage. I still shake my head remembering her arguing they weren't touching.

Of course it was some lame-ass cxnt in an enormous SUV. It is NEVER someone else's fault if YOU hit their car. You are responsible for using your damn eyes when parking and knowing your vehicle.

I got pissed and told her it wasn't my fault she was driving such a giant and had no clue how big it was. Short little lady by herself.

A guy I went to school with hit an illegally parked car and totalled his. Insurance ruled in his favour and he got paid out by the other persons insurance.

Just saying

Different circumstances. Also, just because one insurance company rules in someone's favor for having had an accident with an illegally-parked vehicle doesn't mean you don't have a moral imperative to NOT hit something if you can at all avoid it.

Thinking otherwise encourages an attitude of "I'll do this, because I can get away with it."
