Ricers trying to talk crap

If anybody's interested, maybe aside from the autofails/rice report thread, we could start a "ricers talking crap" thread. I have a guy who owns a 96 civic, straight piped with a fart can, trying to say how much better his is.

Well... to play devil's advocate...I bought a 1991 Toyota Tercel Coupe in '94 with only 25,000 miles on it and had it up until last April when 2 people rear ended me and pushed me under the suv in front of me totaling the car. It had 119000 miles on it and was still going strong. I loved that car. Now with that said, I've owned 2 Fords before, '76 Mercury Comet, loved that car too, and a '78 Ford Fairmont, which was a really good car until I gave it to my mother (as I bought the Tercel) and she was in an accident, then giving it to my sister who blew the engine. Last weekend I bought a 2001 Ford Focus SE and I really do love it..as long as the engine valves/pistons behave and not drop.

You can't handle the truth.

In any case, you shouldn't concern yourself with this kind of nonsense.

This sort of thread makes me LOL..... I like the "Don't knock it until you're tried it." monicker for this sort of topic.

Once you've owned one for 10+ years with no issues. You'll see where they are coming from.

So he is putting his 96 up against your..... oh wait, what are you driving again.... a 2004! just out of curiosity, How many early- mid 90's Ford Escorts do you still see on the roads with the original engines?

Thing is, they are comparable if you take care of them. My neighbour has had his focus for 11 years now and never had any major issues....Thing is rust free and all regular maintenance carried out. I have been doing the maintenance for him over the past 4 years. The thing is mint. He is talking about giving it to his son now. He who wants to rice/redneck the F#@k out of it. So it's not just Honda owners!

Actually I drive 4 svtf. And I wouldn't be caught dead in a foreign owned company vehicle. I have standards.
