I scrutinized it as I cleaned it the other day. Took some serious looking and touching to find these. If your dealer is a big paint and body shop and all I'd trust them.

Update: got car back, will get pics in the AM, it's low light here now. But looks like they leveled it and applied some touchup. To me that's fine, so long as it a blatantly obvious hit. And it isn't anymore. The paint issues were corrected and I don't see anything wrong with it, checked my jambs and all. Oh, and no out of pocket, only gas for the rental.

Glad you got it repaired. I see this atleast three times a week. I am a body shop manager at a Ford store. What irks me is the honest people always get the shaft but the people who I know are full of it always come out on top.

Don't ever worry about paint issues as paint not matching if you go to a Ford affiliated shop. They are required to stand behind their work and workmenship. So if you have issues get it taken care of.

I have not been happy with the paint on my wife's '13 since day 1 but she wanted the Ruby Red. I know everyone gets rock chips but her car after a week looked like it was pelted with a shotgun. I had the car's front clip repainted under warranty and in prep time my tech did notice the car had a really thin paint finish. I called the Ford rep and had him come in and examine it and he did agree it was flawed. Apparently, the 13's that were built in late 2012 have had issues. Now my '14 Oxford White SE Sport has not one chip (Knock on wood) but it helps I only drive 6 miles to work for the week and this includes coming home for lunch every day. But what I am saying is that if you think you have an issue under warranty do not hesitate in taking it in. If it is repaired and you're not happy let them know.

That's a good advice! I need to have my car paint corrected, I just can't find the time to do it, under warranty of course
