Yes, that's on a ST, but the non ST and the ST shared the same strut assembly for 2013; I assume the same for 2014. (Might not be the case though)

Steeda is already shipping lowering springs for the 14 ST; I assume the 14 non ST won't be far behind.
OK - your guess on the "non ST" is likely correct then. Second hand info. is hard to depend on (OP was told the top was the issue, didn't see it himself).

'14 top hat having a different part # was the only confirmation we could find, could easily be both different and not the spring fitment issue.

Would coilovers that require the use of the stock top hat like H&R's work in a 2014?

What is he issue with the Sportlines on the 2014 strut? Does the too strut mount not fit because of the lower perch location or is it a direct problem with the strut mount?

We don't have a definitive answer yet. We have the OPs mechanic saying the top hat doesn't work and the ST guys saying their spring perch was wrong.

Tire Rack lists those as fitting a '13, but NOT a '14, and from the pictures they re-use the top hat (bushing) & mount.

May not be PROOF, but it looks like the top bush is the issue for these as well as for the sportlines, on the non-ST models at least.

Thanks guys. It looks like the lower spring perch is the issue on the 2014's

I contacted Steeda about springs for the 2014 and this is what they said to me.

"Jordan,

We expect to have stock on 555-8307 spring set within the next two weeks. The price will be $259.95 plus a free t shirt.

so good news!

I hate to be the bearer of more possible bad news... but that part number is for the 2014 Focus ST, not the base Focus. You might want to reply and confirm that those springs will also fit the base Focus(which I am fairly sure they will not)
