Mk3 Wheel Spacer question

Does anyone know if l add 20mm H&R wheel spacers to my stock ST wheels will I have any rubbing issues once installed my Sportslines/koni suspension in a couple of weeks.. got a great deal on 4 H&R spacers on my local CL, would 20 mm make my wheel stick out too much?

My bet is that you will rub in certain situations. 20mm makes you et35, and I think et38 is about as far as you can go without rubbing issues.

Isn't going to stop me from doing the same thing.

Lowered problems~

Will I sit flush with the fenders? I'm not trying to poke or anything like that.. the sportlines is good for 1.5" drop and it looks like I have soon room to play with.

I have been looking into purchasing spacers for myself for quite a while now... I have seen guys on the ST forums using 20/25mm F/R lowered with no rub.

On that note... Has anyone here ever experienced rubbing issues with a non-ST MK3 with this setup? (20/25mm F/R using an 8" wide wheel, ET55 (new ET would be 35/30 F/R) with 235/40R18 tires). I know dyno is running a setup here with ET33 (?) and 215/40 with minimal rub?

I just posted basically this exact same question in the mk3 subforum. I did lots of research first, including reading through the spacer thread.

I am going to order up my spacers next week and we will find out if 20 gets rub on the front. I am not certain it wont, but I expect none or very little.

Just bought my 20mm spacers! Craigslist rocks btw. After more researching around I'm more confident my Sportslines/koni suspension and my 18" ST wheels should be alright... I'll let you guys know in a couple of weeks

Alright guys, please keep us in the loop. I would like to hear back from some non-ST drivers riding on spacers. As far as I am aware... The fenders from both cars are flared the same amount.
