Never spoke of front bar, I do not run one, after
Running Vw gti'S for years with no front bar, the first time out in this car was the last time with a front bar. Not saying its correct, it just feels more planted for me.

I have started work on installing the new Suspension on the car, the rears set up is a GC spring perches set up for 60mm coil springs, with KW Vís shocks.

The front strut towers are being modified for FSwerks camper plates, I also added a Power steering Bracket from an 05 Focus so that I can mount the older style reservoir.

The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you? - It protects my head.

Do you have any special rituals when the helmet is concerned like many have? - I wipe it so that I can see better.

While installing the plates remember this is the time to correct or add caster, something that is not adjustable. We actually moved our plates out more towards the fenders to take back camber. The plates allow more than 2 degrees of adjustment, but the hoosier tires really don't need a ton and we needed less with the plates. So he'll since its a race car we moved them more. The GC units adjust from the top what does the bottom look like? The adjustment for the H&R is from the bottom. What length spring is that.

The bottom spring perch is just a cup that sits in the hole in the lower control arm it does raise the spring up higher than the factory spring; the springs are a 160 mm long. I did not take any photos of that part though.

Two weeks ago the car was on track as a loner car, my friend Steveís mustang is down and he didnít want to lose any points. The car ran in a regional SCCA Class ITE, it a essentially a big bore class with mustangs and Camaros and Corvettes. Car ran grate and even finished 3rd due to other cars DNFís.

This week I decided to pull the 3Ē exhaust off my old car and fit it to the new car. I even modified my 3Ē SVT flex pipe to fit the car. So now I have a full 3Ē exhaust from the header back.

Stock flex and SVT 3Ē flex

Not the prettiest welds but Iím getting better.

This weekend the car will be back on track for a 2 day PDX, so Iíll get lots of seat time.

Had a great time! This was one of the most fun track days I have done. I canít wait to do it again in SeptemberÖ.it feels like itís so far away.

I managed to get the same run from my car. I kept forgetting to turn the Go Pro on most of the weekend.
