alright so I changed the fuel filter and the pcv valve today and I drove it around the block and it has he same problem the pcv hose was pretty stiff and was wedged under the thermostat housing the elbow was stiff and solid no cracks

I guess I should try the coil next??

it jumps in the beginning when driving but if I give it the led foot she gets going but it happens through ever gear like trying to teach someone stick or when they say "yea let me drive your car I know how to drive stick"

changed the coil and it got a little better but its mainly once you put it in first gear at jumps and shakes anyone think this might be a transmission problem?

You have several things, motor mount(s) may be broken, Transmission mount(s) may be broken, universal joints. Narrow down to mechanical-electrical-fuel.

Hey hockeyfreek42,

Have you been to your Ford Dealer for this concern? Let me know; I'll look into available options.

Do you have any CELs? That would narrow things down.

When you replaced the coil, did you check the wiring harness? The wires tend to break/fray right at the plug where they're hard to spot, and can cause weird misfire-type problems. Mine threw a code but I've heard not all do.

I've also heard of spark plug wires getting chewed by rodents and giving these same symptoms. Guessing you checked yours when you did the plugs. All boots snapped down firmly onto the plugs, too...easy to miss the simple stuff sometimes.

i have only had 2 CELS on my car ever since i owned it 1 was because my gas cap was loose and the other was because after my tranny got serviced they must have disconnected a vac line

and as for the plug coming off my coil there's another extra green wire spliced into it i have never figured it out but i kinda think its to my alarm system which has also been giving me problems killing my battery and such
the alarm also has a killswitch on it maybe that's the green wire
