Yea, that was one of the first mods I did was plasti dip the awful looking 16" wheels to conceal them somewhat. I've got new 17" wheels but I'm just using up the rest of the tread on the 16" wheels before I swap. They remind me of torque thrust wheels too much and everyone and their brother puts those on a mustang or camaro.

Oh nice, your car is like my twin with a booty (I have a sedan). I'm glad you posted this pic, I'm torn between dipping my wheels black or white. Gonna be a tough call. I might just do it white first so I can come back and post a comparison pic so people can see what black and white looks like on a tuxedo black focus.

Black looks pretty slick.

If you get white, be aware they'll get dirty soooooo easily. Forwarning if you don't have time to clean wheels.

Good call. Any tips for keeping plastidip clean? Just bought some white dip and glossifier off of amazon. It's happening.

I usually use car wash soap or all purpose cleaner. Some people use wheel cleaners like Sonax but I usually don't get my wheels that dirty.

Can I ask what process you went through to plasti dip the wheels? Did you take them off? Put tape around them? Keep them on? How did you not get plasti dip on the brakes and inside parts?
