Windshield Crack from Flex

Hey everyone, just wanted to share what happened with my car yesterday.
I had 3 people in my car, which I never allow. But we went on a food run. As I pulled up to the chickfila, the enterance is pretty steep. So as always, I took it at an angle. 3 wheeled and all. Lol. After I got through the entrance I noticed half way down my windshield on the passenger side, a crack.. Once I parked, I checked for a rock chip on the outside edge. Nothing, the crack started under the weather strip and go out pass where the wipers contact. About 8". So, just letting everyone know, what could happen. Oh and most of you know but I'm on coils. Don't worry stock foci.

Not since I've had the car. I got it at 30k miles. I'm at 70k now. Also, I've been on coils for over a year now.

UPDATE: Today the crack grew and huge amount. When I left for work in the morning, it was still about 8". On the way to work it was still 8. When I left work later it was impossible to miss that it was now almost half my windshield. I guess it happened when I went into the parking garage at work. I guess I'll leave it for now until it grows too big. I don't want to put a new windshield in and have it happen again.

If your window doesn't say sound screen on it, its probably been replaced.

Doesn't matter. I've had the car over a year. Put over 40k miles on it.
The crack it now over half the windshield.

What SlickWilly is referring to is if it had been replaced with an aftermarket windshield it is most likely of an inferior quality and prone to damage easier then a OEM or genuine factory equivalent windshield.

Replace it with a genuine factory equivalent windshield and you shouldn't have this issue any further short of any pre existing extreme uni body damage affecting the frame the windshield mounts to?.

That didn't crack because of body flex. Idc if your on coils that's not how that works
