trust me i am. i'm looking to see what the best rally suspension setup will be. i got eibach pro system plus kit for now and i plan to keep the car in the stock class until i'm better but other then that, i know i got a lot of research to do. i'm heading to NY for the empire state rally in april with nasa for the weekend

so i found that all i need is the brackets, calipers, rotors, and pads right up to the knuckle. oh this is going to be fun

You're at an advantage starting from an SVT.

I'd have to switch to an '05 knuckle to keep the same struts, and change to the larger shaft ball joints.

Using that larger brake for a while helps with parts availability, it's not special like the SVT ones.

This area used to be "Wheels, Tires, Brakes & Suspension" - Wheels & Tires got split off a while back, so we need to look in both sections for questions on how they work together.

I think you'll see that '05 ST isn't the only option for the larger front brakes to bolt onto the SVT.

from what i've read, all i have to do is put the lower control arm from the 05 on my svt and add everything else and i'm good to go :) is that right?

Nope - you're reading it as if you didn't have SVT brakes already.

You've already got the right knuckle to bolt the brakes onto.

Caliper, mount & disc.
