If you spent more than $2k I'd take them back immediately if they're an actual rally type setup, if they're cheaper keep them and run them as hard as you want, it will take a lot to kill them… if when you're racing you start to feel the struts bottom out you need taller springs otherwise you'll be hurting the car, yourself, and the actual shock.

no they're not a full rally setup. i only spent 700 for the set. i plan on saving up for a hobbits rally suspension later on but for now i plan to run in the stock rally class but the springs and shocks on the car now are shot. need to find a shop up here that does roll cages and fire systems. i may end up asking capaldi racing since they build the fiesta for b spec(it's close to the focus in some sort of way lol)

If they try to make you pay more than $2300 for the cage and seat mounts they're high, I was looking at getting hot bits on my car which I run some frankenstein kyb agxs with some taller springs to rally and they do alright but… I found that you can tear up hotbits too easily in a way in which will costs a lot of money to repair so… I looked elsewhere for my suspension heres what I came up with: pro flex- $6500 (pretty good hard to get repaired), dms- $4000 (expensive to repair and unpredictable), Reigers- $10,000+ (holy crap that's a lot of money in a car), or JVAB custom built which is what I just bought and I now have to convert my rear wheel wells to facilitate the coil over which get this gives me 7" of travel all for $2000 and a month wait.

so what do you recommend? i saw how matak took the front suspension from an 05 focus and put it on his rally so i think i may do that later on and grab the rally brake kit since i'm only running in stock class for now so i can get the experience. then i'll go for the 350whp turbo later on

JVAB if you can risk it hotbits if you can't and you want the easy way out.

And how screwed up is the camber curve going to be with that?

On the original control arms with the inboard springs I'm assuming it would be just god awful but those arms would also break without proper weight distribution, what I'm doing with mine is adding megan racing adjustable camber bars up top, and adding my own home made adjustable control arm to make the car sit straight.

If you run coilovers and you want to do the rear arm setup you'll need:
Camber arms:

Parts for control arms:
