The point was that many "exotic" performance cars (and even F1 cars) have automated transmissions.

Also, I'm not sure where the idiotic thinking that MTs are "manly" come from.
When I was teen and still living at home, *everyone* (including mom and sis) drove a manual.

Knowing how to use a clutch pedal and gearshift lever does not make one a good driver.
I'm met more than one person that could run a decent time at the drag strip but would embarrass themselves on a road racing course.

Such boring cars they are...
If you were to buy a car such as these in an automatic trim. You're a complete idiot or an old man with too much money. Women and children wouldn't be dumb enough to make a purchase like that.

And F1 do not use fully autotragic F#@king slushboxes. They are illegal. So I'm not sure where you are getting your information from. Check the Official F1 website.. all the specs are there. they are paddle shift, not automatic!

I didn't mean all dd's should be auto, like I said it depend on where you live and where you travel. We have a lot of family out on Long Island and some in Manhattan, there is no way in hell I would ever drive stick in the city or on the belt parkway. The NJ turnpike would be pretty bad too on some days. If you've used stick your whole life though and don't care go ahead, but that's just me.

That was also a big factor in buying a 5 speed for me. I didn't want my wife or relatives to be able to drive my car. My wife and I live with her parents, who used to take my old car everywhere, for hours at a time, without even asking first. There are 4 other cars here, but they chose mine, and didn't have the courtesy to ask first. I put a stop to that shit rather effectively
